2009 brought the inaugural Hawkapalooza! Over 10,000 people showed up to cheer on the Hawkeyes and see Lupe Fiasco rock Hubbard Park.

In 2010, the Hawks Nest took a road trip to Michigan to witness the Hawkeye Football Team beat the Wolverines 38-28!
It was a great experience and we look forward to participating in more road trips in the future!
East Lansing
In 2009, The Hawks Nest traveled to East Lansing to witness a thrilling victory over the Spartans to become 9-0, a record for Iowa Football.
